Why Can’t We Be Good in a Bad World?
The question of why we can’t be good in a bad world is a profound one, rooted in human nature and the inherent challenges we face in our daily lives. Sadly, it seems that not everyone aligns with the principles of goodness and kindness. However, despite the overwhelming negativity, we must find the strength within us to not give in to despair.
To be truly happy, we often need at least half of the world to be good. Sadly, this is not the reality we live in. Without a significant portion of the world’s population practicing benevolence, it can be challenging to find the support and help needed to thrive. As the old saying goes, "you can't go against a billion," and much like politics, it’s nearly impossible to win without public support.
The Power of Positivity and Inner Strength
Despite the challenges, it is essential to remember that the world's darkness does not have to overshadow our ability to live a good life. We can shape our reality based on our desires, convictions, and strong self-identity. Guided by our inner selves, we can navigate the external world with resilience and optimism. For every negative situation, try to find the positive aspects. Often, we perceive things as much worse than they actually are.
Dealing with Emotional Resilience
This is undoubtedly a difficult stance to maintain, especially after years of complacency and the perceived inability to make a difference. Many have distanced themselves from concepts of right and wrong, delving into a 'don't get caught' mentality. This is a concerning trend, as it reduces accountability and integrity.
A significant part of the problem lies in the hidden war being fought around us, often unseen by the majority. Satanic influences, false religions, and blind obedience to them create a toxic environment. This war is not just a matter of ordinary conflict but one between truth and deception, light and darkness. Revelation 12:47-12 describes how Satan and his demons were cast to Earth, causing great turmoil.
Navigating through Deception
In false religions, the “born again” doctrine is a common theme. It often implies that those who have "accepted Jesus" are free from sin and are saved. However, this religious claim is a form of deception. False religions, at their core, promote a lack of accountability and understanding. This results in arrogant interpretations of scriptures and a belief in personal standards, which further misleads people.
The Three Prongs of Deception
Satan wields three primary weapons: politics, commercialism, and false religions—except for Jehovah's Witnesses, who adhere to a specific, acceptable religion. This pervasive deception causes a majority of the world's population to follow false paths. The overwhelming majority—99.88% as mentioned—have been misled due to these influences. As a result, people may continue to follow corrupted ideals, leading to a decline in moral society until a time comes when Jehovah and his Son, Jesus Christ, will punish the unrepentant.
On the horizon, however, is the promise of a paradise. Jehovah's plans include a swift and humane resolution to the current chaos. With hundreds of millions of angels, it will be easy to execute divine justice on those who refuse to listen. However, it will appear much more challenging to the billions who will be held accountable.
To the cynics who question the fairness of this divine judgment, remember that it is a call to embrace the coming paradise. By choosing the path of rebellion, one is making a decision to remain in the debauched world under satanic rule. But there will come a time when this world will no longer exist as we know it. As Psalms 37:9-11 reminds us, the wicked will be destroyed, and the righteous will inherit the earth.
