Cold coffee is delivered twice a week to each squadron, at a specific time after activities like games or cross-country practice. Each squadron receives a canister, which is typically the sole property of the sixth-term cadets. Before the canister is shared among them, approximately 26 cadets in the sixth term will each consume around two mugs or two jugs. The remaining, if any, is shared among the fifth-term cadets, often not more than half a mug each. This system ensures that only the most senior cadets get to taste the cold coffee, making it a coveted privilege.

In addition to the squadron-wide delivery, each cadet has a personal jug known as 'Pappu.' Cadets often acquire cold milk from local stores like Hamsa or Gol Market, mix it with Nescafé and sugar, and enjoy it quickly before their coursemate snatches it. These moments are fraught with danger, as Hamsa is a place that provokes the Attention of Drill Ustads, and Gol Market is a place of dreams for weekday excursions.
